Wall Street Technology iPad App

Wall Street & Technology is apart of UBM TechWeb, a branch of UBM plc, a global provider of news distribution and specialist information services, with a market capitalization of more than $2.5 billion.

The challenge:
To develop an iPad App-optimized reading experience for Wall Street & Technology.

Yagnaum's solution:
A re-brandable iPad application for which the content and style could be customized for each magazine. We worked with the client to launch the functional applications in the iPad App Store as soon as possible, and continued to release updates over the next few months with additional functionality and optimizations.
We first developed the iPad application from scratch, and shared the initial build with the client. From there, we took an iterative approach to improving the build quality until it was ready for release. The client requested modifications or additional functionality they would like to see, and we implemented them in the code and tested internally. Once we were satisfied with the quality of the code, we shared the build with the client again to continue the process.  This iterative development process continued until the application was ready to launch, and even after the launch we continued to improve the application through new updates.

Features of the Wall Street & Technology App are:
Navigation which is optimized for the tablet with a fixed position navigation bar with easy links to specific topics. It also offers related content which allows users to browse similar topic content efficiently. The app also has a share options that allow users to share articles with a full set of tools.

The Benefits:
Speed for instant access to WS&T content with the ability to navigate around quickly and easily; Portability where users can access WS&T content anywhere; Optimized Format- WS&T content is specifically optimized for viewing on a tablet; Interactivity the ability to connect content to others via Facebook, Twitter and email.
